A line of text will automatically wrap around the web page no matter how it is written in the page or how wide the page that is displaying it is. Spaces and line feeds are stripped from the text.

A Paragraph tag makes two line feeds such as above.

To conserve spaces and linefeeds, such as for ascii drawing.. use the "pre" tag as it is applied here.
